Industry Involvement
Lisa contributes as a subject-matter expert and volunteer for standards development and other infection prevention projects related to the medical device industry that promote the Sterile Processing profession, including workforce development, microcredentialing, curriculum and education program design. She is the Strategic Alliance Liaison as an appointed member on the Board of Directors for Association for Professionals in Infection, Control, and Epidemiology (APIC) Indiana.

As a healthcare professional that is driven to influence positive change for patient safety initiatives, Lisa is a catalyst for the advancement of infection prevention within Sterile Processing. Her passion is education and she is energized when she can utilize her experience to develop people.

Artisha Grace

With over a decade of experience in the healthcare industry, Artisha has established herself as a leader in Sterile Processing and healthcare education. Her career has been dedicated to training, mentoring, and inspiring others to excel in their roles within the healthcare environment. Artisha has spent 10 years working in surgical services, where she specialized in training and educating staff, mentoring peers, and developing effective processes that have been adopted as standards within some healthcare facilities. Her work has involved close collaboration with surgery teams, including doctors, nurses, and surgical technicians, to ensure optimal patient outcomes through the efficient management of sterile equipment and surgical instruments.
Artisha holds multiple certifications, including Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPHT), Certified Surgical Technologist (CST), Certified Surgical Instrument Specialist (CSIS), Certified Flexible Endoscope Reprocessor (CFER), and Certified Sterile Processing Management (CSPM). These credentials reflect her diverse skill set and comprehensive understanding of the surgical services field. From 2023, Artisha has embraced her passion for education by teaching sterile processing certification courses. It has been a pleasure and privilege to help change lives and inspire individuals to pursue and advance in their new careers.
